SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha compute routers test-iam-permissions (ROUTER : --region=REGION) --permissions=[PERMISSION,…] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) gcloud alpha compute routers test-iam-permissions tests the IAM permissions that a caller has on a Compute Engine router.
EXAMPLES
To test if the caller has the 'compute.routers.get' permission on a router my-router, run:
gcloud alpha compute routers test-iam-permissions my-router --region=REGION --permissions=compute.routers.get
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Router resource - The router on which you want to test permissions. The arguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument router on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

This must be specified.

ROUTER
ID of the router or fully qualified identifier for the router.

To set the router attribute:

  • provide the argument router on the command line.

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this group are specified.

--region=REGION
The name of the Google Compute Engine region.

To set the region attribute:

  • provide the argument router on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --region on the command line;
  • set the property compute/region.
REQUIRED FLAGS
--permissions=[PERMISSION,…]
The permissions to test.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.
