SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha compute instance-groups test-iam-permissions (INSTANCE_GROUP : --zone=ZONE) --permissions=[PERMISSIONS,…] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Returns permissions that a caller has on the specified instance group.
EXAMPLES
To test if the caller has 'compute.instanceGroups.get' permission on an instance group, run: 
gcloud alpha compute instance-groups test-iam-permissions my-instance-group --zone=ZONE --permissions=compute.instanceGroups.get
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Instance group resource - The instance group for which to test permissions. The arguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument instance_group on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

This must be specified.

INSTANCE_GROUP
ID of the instance_group or fully qualified identifier for the instance_group.

To set the instance_group attribute:

  • provide the argument instance_group on the command line.

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this group are specified.

--zone=ZONE
The name of the Google Compute Engine zone.

To set the zone attribute:

  • provide the argument instance_group on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --zone on the command line;
  • set the property compute/zone.
REQUIRED FLAGS
--permissions=[PERMISSIONS,…]
Permissions to be tested.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.
