Managed Service for Apache Spark lets you run serverless workloads with automated security hardening that requires no manual configuration. These default safeguards authenticate and encrypt Spark remote procedure call (RPC) traffic between drivers and executors to help protect data in transit. In addition, your workloads execute user code within containers as a restricted non-root spark user to help prevent privilege escalation.
