Table resource - The Hive Table to update. The arguments in this group can be
used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not
given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.
To set the
projectattribute:-
provide the argument
tableon the command line with a fully specified name; -
provide the argument
--projecton the command line; -
set the property
core/project.
This must be specified.
TABLE-
ID of the table or fully qualified identifier for the table.
To set the
tableattribute:-
provide the argument
tableon the command line.
This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this group are specified.

--catalog=CATALOG-
The Hive Catalog for the resource.
To set the
catalogattribute:-
provide the argument
tableon the command line with a fully specified name; -

The Hive Database for the resource.

Table resource - The Hive Table to update. The arguments in this group can be

- FLAGS

--columns-from-file=COLUMNS_FROM_FILE-
Path to a JSON or YAML file containing the new columns list. The format must
follow the Hive Metastore specification for
FieldSchemalist. The list will replace the existing columns. --description=DESCRIPTION- Description of the Hive table.
--location-uri=LOCATION_URI- The Cloud Storage location path where the table's data will be stored. Format: gs://bucket/path/to/table
--parameters=[KEY=VALUE,…]- Additional parameters associated with the table. Will replace existing parameters.
