Create an admin cluster

The admin cluster manages user clusters that run your workloads. This page is intended to guide you on how to create an admin cluster for Google Distributed Cloud. To learn more about the admin cluster and how it works, see the installation overview.

Use this page if you set up, monitor, and manage tech infrastructure. To learn more about common roles and example tasks that we reference in Google Cloud content, see Common GKE user roles and tasks.

In version 1.33 and higher, all new clusters are created as advanced clusters. Be sure to review Differences when running advanced clusters.
