The admin cluster manages user clusters that run your workloads. This page is intended to guide you on how to create an admin cluster for Google Distributed Cloud. To learn more about the admin cluster and how it works, see the installation overview.

In version 1.33 and higher, all new clusters are created as advanced clusters. Be sure to review Differences when running advanced clusters.
Create an admin cluster with the tool of your choice
You can create an admin cluster using one of the following tools:
gkectl, see Create an admin cluster usinggkectl.- Terraform, see Create an admin cluster using Terraform.
- Google Cloud console, see Create an admin cluster using Google Cloud console.
