DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Updates the parameters of a single McpTranscoder.
EXAMPLES
To update the MCP server URL for the global MCP transcoder my-mcp-transcoder, run:
gcloud alpha network-services mcp-transcoders update my-mcp-transcoder --location=global --mcp-server-url="new.api.example.com/v2/mcp"
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
McpTranscoder resource - Identifier. Resource name of the McpTranscoder. It must be in the format projects/*/locations/*/mcpTranscoders/{mcp_transcoder}. {mcp_transcoder} must be 1-63 characters long and match the regex [a-z]([-a-z0-9][a-z0-9])?. This represents a Cloud resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument mcp_transcoder on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

To set the location attribute:

  • provide the argument mcp_transcoder on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --location on the command line.

This must be specified.

MCP_TRANSCODER
ID of the mcpTranscoder or fully qualified identifier for the mcpTranscoder.

To set the mcp_transcoder attribute:

  • provide the argument mcp_transcoder on the command line.
FLAGS
AgentGateway resource - The resource name of the AgentGateway this McpTranscoder is associated with. Must be in the format projects/*/locations/*/agentGateways/{agent_gateway_id}. The referenced AgentGateway must have MCP listed in its protocols. This represents a Cloud resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument --agent-gateway on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

To set the location attribute:

  • provide the argument --agent-gateway on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --location on the command line.
--agent-gateway=AGENT_GATEWAY
ID of the agentGateway or fully qualified identifier for the agentGateway.

To set the agent-gateway attribute:

  • provide the argument --agent-gateway on the command line.
--async
Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to complete.
--description=DESCRIPTION
An optional description of the McpTranscoder resource. Max length 1024 characters.
--endpoints=[ENDPOINTS,…]
A list of resource names of Service resources (from Agent Registry) that contain the OpenAPI specifications. Must be in the format projects/*/locations/*/services/{service}. Note: For the MVP, each McpTranscoder is limited to a single tool set.
--etag=ETAG
Etag of the resource. If this is provided, it must match the server's etag. If the provided etag does not match the server's etag, the request will fail with a 409 ABORTED error.
--location=LOCATION
For resources [agent-gateway, mcp_transcoder], provides fallback value for resource location attribute. When the resource's full URI path is not provided, location will fallback to this flag value.
--mcp-server-url=MCP_SERVER_URL
Specifies the MCP server URL used for the MCP request calls. This typically specifies the host and path (e.g., "api.example.com/v1/mcp").
Update labels.

At most one of these can be specified:

--labels=[LABELS,…]
Set labels to new value. Set of labels associated with the McpTranscoder resource.
KEY
Keys must start with a lowercase character and contain only hyphens (-), underscores (_), lowercase characters, and numbers.
VALUE
Values must contain only hyphens (-), underscores (_), lowercase characters, and numbers.
Shorthand Example:
--labels=string=string

JSON Example:

--labels='{"string": "string"}'

File Example:

--labels=path_to_file.(yaml|json)
Or at least one of these can be specified:
--update-labels=[UPDATE_LABELS,…]
Update labels value or add key value pair.
