整合資料來源與 Dataplex Universal Catalog

本文說明如何整合資料來源與 Dataplex Universal Catalog。Dataplex Universal Catalog 可從 Google Cloud 資料來源匯入並維護最新中繼資料。

擷取中繼資料後，Dataplex Universal Catalog 會執行下列操作：

• 讓使用者透過搜尋功能找到現有中繼資料。詳情請參閱「在 Dataplex Universal Catalog 中搜尋資料資產」。
• 允許機構成員使用切面，以額外的業務中繼資料擴充資料。詳情請參閱「管理層面及豐富中繼資料」。

事前準備

Sign in to your Google Cloud account. If you're new to Google Cloud, create an account to evaluate how our products perform in real-world scenarios. New customers also get $300 in free credits to run, test, and deploy workloads.

In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

Roles required to select or create a project

• Select a project: Selecting a project doesn't require a specific IAM role—you can select any project that you've been granted a role on.
• Create a project: To create a project, you need the Project Creator role (roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator), which contains the resourcemanager.projects.create permission. Learn how to grant roles.

Note: If you don't plan to keep the resources that you create in this procedure, create a project instead of selecting an existing project. After you finish these steps, you can delete the project, removing all resources associated with the project.

Verify that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

Enable the Dataplex API.

Roles required to enable APIs

To enable APIs, you need the Service Usage Admin IAM role (roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin), which contains the serviceusage.services.enable permission. Learn how to grant roles.

In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

整合 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL

在 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL 叢集上啟用 Dataplex Universal Catalog 整合功能 (預先發布版) 後，Dataplex Universal Catalog 會自動從 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL 資源擷取中繼資料，包括叢集、執行個體、資料庫、表格、資料欄和檢視區塊。

Dataplex Universal Catalog 只會從 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL 主要執行個體擷取中繼資料，不會從唯讀備用資源擷取。

整合 Cloud SQL

在 Cloud SQL 執行個體上啟用 Dataplex Universal Catalog 整合功能後，Dataplex Universal Catalog 會自動從 Cloud SQL 資源擷取中繼資料，包括執行個體、資料庫、資料表、資料欄和檢視區塊。

Dataplex Universal Catalog 只會從 Cloud SQL 主要執行個體擷取中繼資料，不會從唯讀備用資源擷取。
