整合資料來源與 Knowledge Catalog

本文說明如何將資料來源與 Knowledge Catalog (舊稱 Dataplex Universal Catalog) 整合。知識目錄可以從 Google Cloud 資料來源匯入並維護最新中繼資料。

擷取中繼資料後，Knowledge Catalog 會執行下列操作：

• 讓使用者可透過搜尋功能找到現有中繼資料。詳情請參閱「在知識型錄中搜尋資料資產」。
• 允許機構成員使用切面，以額外的業務中繼資料擴充資料。詳情請參閱「管理構面及豐富中繼資料」。

事前準備

登入 Google Cloud 帳戶。如果您是 Google Cloud新手，歡迎 建立帳戶，親自評估產品在實際工作環境中的成效。新客戶還能獲得價值 $300 美元的免費抵免額，可用於執行、測試及部署工作負載。

In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

Roles required to select or create a project

• Select a project: Selecting a project doesn't require a specific IAM role—you can select any project that you've been granted a role on.
• Create a project: To create a project, you need the Project Creator role (roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator), which contains the resourcemanager.projects.create permission. Learn how to grant roles.

Note: If you don't plan to keep the resources that you create in this procedure, create a project instead of selecting an existing project. After you finish these steps, you can delete the project, removing all resources associated with the project.

Verify that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

Enable the Dataplex API.

Roles required to enable APIs

To enable APIs, you need the Service Usage Admin IAM role (roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin), which contains the serviceusage.services.enable permission. Learn how to grant roles.

In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

整合 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL

在 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL 叢集上啟用 Knowledge Catalog 整合功能 (預先發布版) 後，Knowledge Catalog 會自動從 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL 資源 (包括叢集、執行個體、資料庫、表格、資料欄和檢視區塊) 擷取中繼資料。

知識目錄只會從 AlloyDB for PostgreSQL 主要執行個體擷取中繼資料，不會從唯讀副本擷取。

整合 Cloud SQL

在 Cloud SQL 執行個體上啟用 Knowledge Catalog 整合功能後，Knowledge Catalog 會自動從 Cloud SQL 資源 (包括執行個體、資料庫、資料表、資料欄和檢視區塊) 擷取中繼資料。

Knowledge Catalog 只會從 Cloud SQL 主要執行個體擷取中繼資料，不會從唯讀複本擷取。
