Inserts a resource containing information about a database inside a Cloud SQL instance.

Note: You can't modify the default character set and collation.

POST https://sqladmin.googleapis.com/sql/v1beta4/projects/{project}/instances/{instance}/databases

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
project	string Project ID of the project that contains the instance.
instance	string Database instance ID. This does not include the project ID.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Database.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/sqlservice.admin
