NAME

gcloud alpha tasks delete - delete a task or multiple tasks from a queue

SYNOPSIS

gcloud alpha tasks delete [TASK …] [--failed-tasks-file=FAILED_TASKS_FILE] [--from-file=FROM_FILE] [--location=LOCATION] [--queue=QUEUE] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]

DESCRIPTION

(ALPHA) Delete a task or multiple tasks from a queue.

EXAMPLES

To delete a task:

gcloud alpha tasks delete --queue=my-queue my-task

To delete multiple tasks:

gcloud alpha tasks delete --queue=my-queue task1 task2 task3

POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS

[TASK …]

The task to delete.

FLAGS

--failed-tasks-file=FAILED_TASKS_FILE

Path to a file to output JSON details of tasks that failed or were skipped during batch deletion.

--from-file=FROM_FILE

Path to a file containing task IDs/names to delete, one per line or in JSON/YAML format.

--location=LOCATION

The location where we want to manage the queue or task. If not specified, uses the location of the current project's App Engine app if there is an associated app.

--queue=QUEUE

The queue the task belongs to.

These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

NOTES

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
