To update the display name for an instance, run:
gcloud alpha bigtable instances update my-instance-id --display-name="Updated Instance Name" - POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS

Instance resource - The instance to update. This represents a Cloud resource.
(NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in
other ways.
To set the

provide the argument
instanceon the command line with a fully specified name; -

set the property
core/project.
This must be specified.
INSTANCE-
ID of the instance or fully qualified identifier for the instance.
