Updates a notification channel. Fields not specified in the field mask remain unchanged.

Design your application to single-thread API calls that modify the state of notification channels in a single project. This includes calls to notificationChannels.create, notificationChannels.delete and notificationChannels.patch.

Path parameters

Parameters
notificationChannel.name	string Identifier. The full REST resource name for this channel. The format is: projects/[PROJECT_ID_OR_NUMBER]/notificationChannels/[CHANNEL_ID] The [CHANNEL_ID] is automatically assigned by the server on creation.

Query parameters

Parameters
updateMask	string (FieldMask format) Optional. The fields to update. This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Request body

The request body contains an instance of NotificationChannel.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of NotificationChannel.
