Method: projects.instances.appProfiles.patch

Updates an app profile within an instance.

PATCH https://bigtableadmin.googleapis.com/v2/{appProfile.name=projects/*/instances/*/appProfiles/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
appProfile.name

string

The unique name of the app profile, up to 50 characters long. Values are of the form projects/{project}/instances/{instance}/appProfiles/[_a-zA-Z0-9][-_.a-zA-Z0-9]*.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • bigtable.appProfiles.update

Query parameters

Parameters
updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Required. The subset of app profile fields which should be replaced. If unset, all fields will be replaced.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".
ignoreWarnings

boolean

If true, ignore safety checks when updating the app profile.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of AppProfile.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
