Cloud Service Mesh 支援各種基礎架構 (GKE/Kubernetes、Compute Engine) 和環境 (地端部署、其他雲端)。本頁面說明 API 和選項，協助您在所有選項中使用 Cloud Service Mesh。
透過 Google Cloud
Google Cloud 提供兩種 API，視您打算使用的基礎架構而定。
如果工作負載僅在 GKE 上，請使用 Istio API。
使用機群 API 在機群中的叢集上安裝 Cloud Service Mesh。
選擇要使用的 CA (MeshCA 或 CAS)。機群中的叢集都會使用相同的 CA，在叢集上執行的工作負載之間建立信任關係。
系統會自動啟用 Service Mesh 使用者介面。
GKE 的代管控制層
為這些叢集佈建的控制層，取決於您是要將叢集新增至現有機群，還是佈建新機群。
新的機群會使用全域代管控制層。這個控制層可橫跨整個 Google Cloud 網路，提供更高的可靠性和穩定性。
如果將叢集新增至現有機群，新叢集會使用與現有叢集相同的代管控制層實作方式。
非代管 Cloud Service Mesh
您也可以選擇使用非代管的叢集內控制層。Google 強烈建議使用代管 Cloud Service Mesh，讓 Google 更新及維護網格基礎架構。只有在代管 Cloud Service Mesh 不支援您的用途時，才應使用這個選項。使用者必須定期發布及修補，才能確保系統維持最新狀態。
VM、GKE 和/或無 Proxy gRPC
如果工作負載結合了 VM 和 GKE，或使用無 Proxy gRPC，則應使用服務路由 API。您可以使用這些 API 定義網格，並設定該網格中服務之間的轉送。
關閉 Google Cloud
Cloud Service Mesh 支援各種環境中的 GKE 和附加叢集。在本例中，Cloud Service Mesh 是 Google Cloud 中 GKE Enterprise 的一部分。Cloud Service Mesh 支援下列環境：
- 適用於 VMware 的 Google Distributed Cloud (僅限軟體)
- 裸機適用的 Google Distributed Cloud (僅限軟體)
- GKE on AWS
- GKE on Azure
- AWS 上的 EKS Kubernetes 叢集

在這些環境中，Cloud Service Mesh 是使用 asmcli 在叢集內安裝。Istio API 會安裝在叢集中，讓使用者能為 Kubernetes 工作負載設定服務網格。
1.31.x
叢內 Cloud Service Mesh 1.31.x 僅支援下列環境。其他環境則不支援。
