Creates a view over log entries in a log bucket. A bucket may contain a maximum of 30 views.

Path parameters

parent	string Required. The bucket in which to create the view `"projects/[PROJECT_ID]/locations/[LOCATION_ID]/buckets/[BUCKET_ID]"` For example: "projects/my-project/locations/global/buckets/my-bucket" Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource parent: logging.views.create

Query parameters

Parameters
viewId	string Required. A client-assigned identifier such as "my-view". Identifiers are limited to 100 characters and can include only letters, digits, underscores, and hyphens.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of LogView.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of LogView.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/logging.admin
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
