Este tema muestra cómo enviar algunas solicitudes simples a la API de Facturación de Cloud.

Antes de comenzar

Accede a tu cuenta de Google Cloud . Si eres nuevo en Google Cloud, crea una cuenta para evaluar el rendimiento de nuestros productos en situaciones reales. Los clientes nuevos también obtienen $300 en créditos gratuitos para ejecutar, probar y, además, implementar cargas de trabajo.

In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

Roles required to select or create a project

• Select a project: Selecting a project doesn't require a specific IAM role—you can select any project that you've been granted a role on.
• Create a project: To create a project, you need the Project Creator role (roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator), which contains the resourcemanager.projects.create permission. Learn how to grant roles.

Note: If you don't plan to keep the resources that you create in this procedure, create a project instead of selecting an existing project. After you finish these steps, you can delete the project, removing all resources associated with the project.

Go to project selector

Verify that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

Enable the Cloud Billing API.

Roles required to enable APIs

To enable APIs, you need the Service Usage Admin IAM role (roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin), which contains the serviceusage.services.enable permission. Learn how to grant roles.

Enable the API

Create a service account:

1. Ensure that you have the Create Service Accounts IAM role (roles/iam.serviceAccountCreator) and the Project IAM Admin role (roles/resourcemanager.projectIamAdmin). Learn how to grant roles.

2. In the Google Cloud console, go to the Create service account page.

   Go to Create service account
3. Select your project.

4. In the Service account name field, enter a name. The Google Cloud console fills in the Service account ID field based on this name.

   In the Service account description field, enter a description. For example, Service account for quickstart.

5. Click Create and continue.

6. Grant the Project > Owner role to the service account.

   To grant the role, find the Select a role list, then select Project > Owner.

   Note: The Role field affects which resources the service account can access in your project. You can revoke these roles or grant additional roles later. In production environments, do not grant the Owner, Editor, or Viewer roles. Instead, grant a predefined role or custom role that meets your needs.
7. Click Continue.

8. Click Done to finish creating the service account.

   Do not close your browser window. You will use it in the next step.

Create a service account key:

1. In the Google Cloud console, click the email address for the service account that you created.
2. Click Keys.
3. Click Add key, and then click Create new key.
4. Click Create. A JSON key file is downloaded to your computer.
5. Click Close.

Set the environment variable GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS to the path of the JSON file that contains your credentials. This variable applies only to your current shell session, so if you open a new session, set the variable again.

Example: Linux or macOS

export GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS="KEY_PATH"

Replace KEY_PATH with the path of the JSON file that contains your credentials.

For example:

export GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS="/home/user/Downloads/service-account-file.json"

Example: Windows

For PowerShell:

$env:GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS="KEY_PATH"

Replace KEY_PATH with the path of the JSON file that contains your credentials.

For command prompt:

Obtén una lista de cuentas de facturación de Cloud

El método de API para enumerar todas las cuentas de facturación de Cloud (REST, RPC) es el método más sencillo de la API, ya que no tiene parámetros obligatorios. El método sencillamente muestra todas las cuentas de facturación que puedes ver según tus permisos.

Recupera una cuenta de facturación de Cloud determinada

Habilita la Facturación de Cloud en un Google Cloud proyecto

Para habilitar la Facturación de Cloud en un proyecto de Google Cloud , debes llamar a la API de Cloud Billing para asociar el proyecto de Google Cloud con una cuenta de facturación de Cloud existente (REST, RPC). Con el siguiente código de muestra, se asocia el proyecto Google Cloud tokyo-rain-123 con la cuenta de facturación de Cloud012345-567890-ABCDEF. De manera incidental, el mismo método de la API se puede usar para inhabilitar la Facturación de Cloud en un proyecto de Google Cloud si configuras billingAccountName como vacío.

Realiza una limpieza

Precaución: Borrar un proyecto tiene las siguientes consecuencias:

• Se borra todo su contenido. Si usaste un proyecto existente para las tareas de este documento, cuando lo borres, también se borrará cualquier otro trabajo que hayas realizado en el proyecto.
• Se pierden los IDs personalizados de los proyectos. Cuando creaste este proyecto, es posible que hayas creado un ID personalizado del proyecto que desees utilizar en el futuro. Para conservar las URLs que usan el ID del proyecto, como una URL appspot.com, borra los recursos seleccionados dentro del proyecto, en lugar de todo el proyecto.

Si planeas explorar varios instructivos, arquitecturas o guías de inicio rápido, reutilizar proyectos puede ser útil para no exceder los límites de cuota de los proyectos.

1. En la Google Cloud consola, ve a la página Administrar recursos.

2. En la lista de proyectos, elige el proyecto que quieres borrar y haz clic en Borrar.
3. En el diálogo, escribe el ID del proyecto y, luego, haz clic en Cerrar para borrar el proyecto.
