Update appliance software

You can update Transfer Appliance software by running the ta update command on the appliance.

Run ta update to update the ta binary on the appliance:

ta update

Note: If your appliance is running an earlier software version without the latest update changes, run ta update --binaries to update to the latest version.

A successful response is similar to the following sample:

Updating binaries on the appliance...
Binaries updated successfully.

If the binaries are already up to date, the following response is returned:

Binaries are already up-to-date.
