To update labels
andk0and remove labels with keyk1, run:k3gcloud preview compute snapshots update example-snapshot --update-labels=k0=value1,k1=value2 --remove-labels=k3`_k0_` and `_k1_` will be added as new labels if not already present.
Labels can be used to identify the snapshot and to filter them like:
gcloud preview compute snapshots list --filter='labels.k1:value2'To list only the labels when describing a resource, use --format:
gcloud preview compute snapshots describe example-snapshot --format="default(labels)" - POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS

SNAPSHOT_NAME- Name of the snapshot to update.
- FLAGS

--update-labels=[KEY=VALUE,…]-
List of label KEY=VALUE pairs to update. If a label exists, its value is
modified. Otherwise, a new label is created.
Keys must start with a lowercase character and contain only hyphens (
-), underscores (_), lowercase characters, and numbers. Values must contain only hyphens (-), underscores (_), lowercase characters, and numbers. -
At most one of these can be specified:
--clear-labels-
Remove all labels. If
--update-labelsis also specified then--clear-labelsis applied first.For example, to remove all labels:
gcloud preview compute snapshots update --clear-labelsTo remove all existing labels and create two new labels,
andfoo:bazgcloud preview compute snapshots update --clear-labels --update-labels foo=bar,baz=qux --remove-labels=[KEY,…]-
List of label keys to remove. If a label does not exist it is silently ignored.
If
--update-labelsis also specified then--update-labelsis applied first.
