Specify your end user license agreement (EULA)

This document describes how to specify the end user license agreement (EULA) for a private offer in Producer Portal.

Before you begin

Before you specify your EULA, you must complete the following steps in Producer Portal:

  1. Create an offer.

  2. Add customer and product details to the offer.

  3. Set up pricing for your offer.

Specify your EULA

In Producer Portal, navigate to the private offer you're creating. Under Legal terms, specify whether you want to use the usual EULA for your product or provide a custom EULA for this offer.

Standard EULA

To review a standard EULA or other applicable agreement, see the following links. To use one or more of the following standard agreements, download and attach them to the private offer as described in the Custom EULA section.

These are standard agreements created by Bonterms, which are free to use and licensed under the open-source document license CC BY-ND.

Custom EULA

If you want to provide a custom EULA:

  1. Use the Attach a custom EULA field to select and upload your custom EULA. Your custom EULA file must be:

    • In PDF format.

    • Less than or equal to the maximum file size of 4 MB.

  2. In the Custom display name field, specify the name that you want your customers to see for your custom EULA when they view the offer.

  3. Click Next.

What's next

After you've specified your private offer's EULA, you're ready to review and publish your offer.
