Migration to split invoicing for agency model transactions

Starting around February 1, 2025, Google invoices your purchases of Cloud Marketplace products offered by independent software vendors (ISVs) separately from your purchases of first-party Google products and usage of Google Cloud services, for transactions that meet the following criteria:

  • The transactions occur under the agency transaction model.
  • Your Google Cloud organization's payment profile is located in one of the following countries:
    • The United Kingdom
    • Germany
    • France
    • Israel (starting June 1, 2025)
    • Belgium (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Italy (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Luxembourg (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Netherlands (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Poland (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Spain (excluding the Canary Islands) (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Sweden (starting September 1, 2025)
    • Switzerland (starting June 1, 2026)
    • Australia (starting August 1, 2026)

For all other transactions, you continue to receive a single invoice from Google for your Cloud Marketplace transactions and your usage of Google products and services.

Israel

Starting June 1, 2025, if your Google Cloud organization's payment profile is located in Israel, you will receive a Request for Payment document for all your Cloud Marketplace purchases governed under the Agency model. You will receive a separate invoice document for your Cloud Marketplace purchases under the Google-as-a-reseller model. This document will contain new payment information.

Australia

Starting August 1, 2026, if your Google Cloud organization's payment profile is located in Australia, you can receive up to four separate billing documents each month. Depending on the location of the seller (independent software vendor), your Agency model charges are split:

  • Domestic Seller (located in Australia): You receive a "Request for Payment" document. This document does not include GST or other Google-assessed taxes. You must pay the seller directly for any applicable taxes.
  • Foreign Seller (located outside Australia): You receive a standard Google Cloud Marketplace Invoice that includes Google-assessed taxes.

In addition, you receive separate documents for your Google Cloud (first-party) usage and your Cloud Marketplace Reseller model purchases.
