Get products from Google Cloud Marketplace

You discover, select, and deploy software packages from the Cloud Marketplace page of the Google Cloud console.

Before you begin

Search for a product

You can discover software packages by searching Cloud Marketplace.

In addition to standard keyword search, the search experience includes AI-powered features to help you find the best products for your use case through conversational queries and problem descriptions. For more information about using these features, see Discover products with AI search.

The Cloud Marketplace search experience includes the following features:

  • Instant Search: As you type in the search bar, a drop-down menu instantly shows query suggestions, category matches, and specific product or partner matches. You can select an instant match to navigate directly to a product or category.
  • AI Overviews: When you run a search, an AI Overview summarizes how the marketplace inventory addresses your query. This includes a list of the most relevant products with links to their details pages, along with a description of how each product matches your query.
  • AI Mode: For complex queries, you can use the conversational AI Mode. Enter AI Mode by clicking AI Mode in the search bar, clicking Dive deeper with AI Mode from an AI Overview. AI Mode lets you have a multi-turn conversation to refine your product discovery.
  • Filters: You can refine your search results using the horizontal filters on the search page, such as Category, Type, Price, and Partner. Both the standard search results and AI Overviews respect your active filters.

Deploy a software package

To deploy a software package from Google Cloud Marketplace, complete the following steps:

  1. In Cloud Marketplace, search for the product that you want to deploy. For products that have ratings and reviews, the search results page displays the average rating and review count on each product card to help you evaluate solutions.

  2. Visit the listing page for the product that you want to deploy. From the Product details page, you can review details of the product, its pricing information, and if available, its user ratings and reviews.

  3. From the Product details page, read the relevant terms and agreements for the product. These terms and agreements represent the current version. When you purchase or deploy the product, you must click to accept them as part of the purchase or deployment process.

  4. You see one of the following buttons, depending on the type of product that you want to deploy:

    • For software as a service (SaaS) products, you see a button that says Subscribe, or a button that says View all plans. If you sign in using Workforce Identity Federation, some SaaS products require you to use a Google Account instead. For details, see Use SaaS products with Workforce Identity Federation.

    • For virtual machine (VM) products, you see a button that says Launch, or a button that says Get.

    • For Kubernetes products, you see a button that says Purchase, a button that says Configure, or a button that says Get.

    • For AI models, you see a button that says Enable. For more information, see Get AI models from Google Cloud Marketplace.

To deploy the software package, click the button that you see.

  5. For some products, you might be asked to complete a form that appears by providing details of your intended usage. If you encounter a form, complete the required fields and click Next.

  6. Read the relevant terms and agreements for the product that appear as part of the purchasing or deployment flow.

  7. To accept the relevant terms and agreements and complete your purchase or deployment of the product, click Agree.

Use SaaS products with Workforce Identity Federation

Some software as a service (SaaS) products in Cloud Marketplace don't support Workforce Identity Federation (also known as bring your own identity, or BYOID). If you sign in to the Google Cloud console with a federated identity, you might not be able to subscribe to, configure, or use these SaaS products directly.

To configure and use a SaaS product that doesn't support Workforce Identity Federation, complete the following steps:

  1. Create a Google Account that links to your existing work email address. When you create the account, select the option to use your existing email address instead of creating a new Gmail address.
  2. Verify that your new Google Account has the required IAM roles to purchase and manage the SaaS product. If your Google Account doesn't have the required roles, ask your administrator to grant them to your Google Account. For details, see IAM roles for purchasing and managing products.
  3. Sign in to the Google Cloud console using your Google Account to subscribe to, configure, and use the SaaS product.
