Creates a new hive table.

The URLs use gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent	string Required. The parent resource for the table to be created. Format: projects/{project_id_or_number}/catalogs/{catalogId}/databases/{databaseId}

Query parameters

Parameters
hiveTableId	string Required. The Hive Table ID to use for the table that will become the final component of the table's resource name. The maximum length is 256 characters.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of HiveTable.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of HiveTable.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/bigquery
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
