NFS データストアをモニタリングする
NFS Datastore のパフォーマンスは、vCenter と Cloud Monitoring でモニタリングできます。
- vCenter: NFS データストアがマウントされている ESXi ホストとクラスタで観測されたパフォーマンス指標を提供します。
- Cloud Monitoring: Filestore と Google Cloud NetApp Volumes の NFS ボリュームのパフォーマンス指標を、それぞれのサービスで観測されたとおりに提供します。Cloud Monitoring 指標を使用して、ファイル共有のパフォーマンスをモニタリングし、レイテンシを追跡し、ワークロードのニーズに基づいてアラートを設定することをおすすめします。
VMware Engine は、NFS データストアで潜在的な問題がないかどうかを自動的にモニタリングします。条件で注意が必要な場合や問題が示されている場合、VMware Engine はアラートを生成します。これらのアラートは、プロジェクトの重要な連絡先に送信されるメールと、Cloud Logging のエントリとして受信されます。

ストレージ使用量が多い
アラート名: vmware_nfs_datastore_storage_usage_high
このアラートは、NFS Datastore の使用済み容量が総容量の 80% を超えるとトリガーされます。
推奨される対応: この問題を解決するには、基盤となる NFS ボリュームのサイズを増やして、容量不足を回避します。
通知の例:
The private cloud `{.PCName}` in project `{.ProjectNumber}` can be affected because
the used space for the NFS Datastore `{.NFS_Datastore}` has exceeded
80%. Increase the size of your NFS volume and Datastore to avoid an out-of-space
condition and disruption to your applications. If you have any questions,
contact Cloud Customer Care.
Datastore にアクセスできない
アラート名: vmware_host_datastore_nfs_mount_inaccessible
このアラートは、クラスタ内の 1 つ以上の ESXi ホストがマウントされた NFS データストアにアクセスできない場合にトリガーされます。
推奨される対応: このアラートは、VMware Engine チームが積極的に解決に取り組んでいる問題を示しています。ご不明な点がございましたら、Cloud カスタマーケアにお問い合わせください。

The NFS Datastore `{.NFS_Datastore}` in private cloud `{.PCName}`
mounted to cluster `{.cluster}` is inaccessible from one or more hosts in

非マネージド データストアが検出されました
アラート名: vmware_nfs_datastore_not_allowed
このアラートは、VMware Engine API を使用せずに手動でマウントした NFS データストアが VMware Engine で検出されたときにトリガーされます。これらの非管理 Datastore は今後サポートされません。
推奨される対応: 適切な統合とサポートを確保するため、Cloud カスタマーケアに連絡して、非管理対象 Datastore をフルマネージド VMware Engine Datastore に移行するスケジュールを設定します。
通知の例:
Google Cloud VMware Engine Service identified an NFS volume within your Google Cloud project `{.ProjectNumber}` as a mounted NFS Datastore in your private cloud `{.PCName}` but is not managed by VMware Engine. To ensure seamless operation and proper integration, contact Cloud Customer Care to arrange its no-data-copy migration.
