API のアクセス権と割り当てのリクエスト

プライベート クラウドを作成する前や、Google Cloud VMware Engine にアクセスする前には、対応する VMware Engine API を有効にして、ノードの割り当てを使用可能にする必要があります。

始める前に

  • Sign in to your Google Cloud account. If you're new to Google Cloud, create an account to evaluate how our products perform in real-world scenarios. New customers also get $300 in free credits to run, test, and deploy workloads.

  • In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

    Roles required to select or create a project

    • Select a project: Selecting a project doesn't require a specific IAM role—you can select any project that you've been granted a role on.
    • Create a project: To create a project, you need the Project Creator role (roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator), which contains the resourcemanager.projects.create permission. Learn how to grant roles.

  • Verify that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

  • Enable the VMware Engine API.

    Roles required to enable APIs

    To enable APIs, you need the Service Usage Admin IAM role (roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin), which contains the serviceusage.services.enable permission. Learn how to grant roles.

    ノードの割り当ては、ノードが使用可能と仮定した場合、1 つのリージョンおよびすべてのリージョンで割り当て可能なノードの最大数を表します。 Google Cloud プロジェクトにプライベート クラウドを作成するには、 Google Cloud プロジェクトに使用可能な割り当てが必要です。

    VMware Engine ノードの割り当ては、プロジェクトごと、リージョンごとに指定します。 Google Cloud また、 Google Cloud プロジェクトには、すべてのリージョンにわたる総割り当て数を表すグローバル ノード割り当てがあります。割り当てを増やし、さらにノードを割り当てるには、割り当ての引き上げリクエストを送信して承認を得る必要があります。
