Solicita acceso a la API y a la cuota

Antes de crear nubes privadas o acceder a Google Cloud VMware Engine, debes habilitar la API de VMware Engine correspondiente y tener disponible la cuota de nodos.

Antes de comenzar

Accede a tu cuenta de Google Cloud . Si eres nuevo en Google Cloud, crea una cuenta para evaluar el rendimiento de nuestros productos en situaciones reales. Los clientes nuevos también obtienen $300 en créditos gratuitos para ejecutar, probar y, además, implementar cargas de trabajo.

Roles required to select or create a project

• Select a project: Selecting a project doesn't require a specific IAM role—you can select any project that you've been granted a role on.
• Create a project: To create a project, you need the Project Creator role (roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator), which contains the resourcemanager.projects.create permission. Learn how to grant roles.

Note: If you don't plan to keep the resources that you create in this procedure, create a project instead of selecting an existing project. After you finish these steps, you can delete the project, removing all resources associated with the project.

Verify that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

Enable the VMware Engine API.

Roles required to enable APIs

To enable APIs, you need the serviceusage.services.enable permission. If you created the project, then you likely already have this permission through the Owner role (roles/owner). Otherwise, you can get this permission through the Service Usage Admin role (roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin). Learn how to grant roles.

Solicita la cuota de nodos de VMware Engine

Tus cuotas de nodos describen la cantidad máxima de nodos que puedes asignar en una región y en todas las regiones en total, suponiendo que los nodos estén disponibles. Debes tener cuota disponible en tu proyecto Google Cloud para crear una nube privada en ese proyecto Google Cloud .

Debes asignar la cuota de nodos de VMware Engine por Google Cloud proyecto y por región. Además, tu proyecto Google Cloud tiene una cuota de nodos global que representa la cuota total en todas las regiones. Para aumentar tu cuota y asignar más nodos, debes enviar una solicitud de aumento de cuota y recibir aprobación.

Cada nube privada debe contener un mínimo de tres nodos. Para ver la cuota disponible de tu proyectoGoogle Cloud o solicitar un aumento de la cuota, consulta Cuotas y límites.
