You can use product ratings and user reviews on Cloud Marketplace to help you understand how other users evaluate products to make informed decisions about which products to use.
Cloud Marketplace uses the PeerSpot platform to let users rate and review their experience with products, which provides review anonymity, purchase verification, and fraud protection.
View ratings, reviews, and compatibility badges
You can find product ratings, reviews, and compatibility badges throughout Cloud Marketplace, primarily on product search pages and individual product details pages.
Cloud Marketplace home and browse pages
When you search for products in Cloud Marketplace, you can use filters to refine your results by:
- Compatibility: Filter by specific product compatibilities, for example, A2A or Gemini Enterprise.
On the search results product cards, you can see the following:
- Overall rating: The average star rating out of 5 and the total number of reviews.
- Compatibility badges: Visual tags that indicate specific validations or compatibilities.
Product details page
The product details page provides comprehensive trust-building information:
- Overall rating: The average star rating out of 5 and the total number of reviews. The PeerSpot platform provides ratings and reviews.
- Ratings distribution: A histogram chart that shows the breakdown of ratings to help you interpret the overall rating.
- AI-generated summary: A concise, AI-generated overview of user feedback that highlights common themes from the reviews. The PeerSpot platform provides this summary.
- Recent reviews: A section that displays the most recently submitted reviews for the product within a 3-year rolling window.
- Compatibility badges: A dedicated section that displays a product's compatibility, for example, A2A or Gemini Enterprise.
View all reviews
To see a complete list of reviews, click View all in the ratings section of the product details page. This action opens a side panel that displays all reviews in chronological order from newest to oldest.
Understand the data
Verified Google Cloud users submit all reviews on Cloud Marketplace, or Google verifies them through trusted third-party platforms. To ensure that the feedback reflects the current state of the product, Google archives reviews older than three years.
Google verifies compatibility badges, which are partner attested. For example, Google tests AI agents to ensure they are compatible with the A2A protocol and can be deployed with Gemini Enterprise.
Limitations
In this preview version, the following limitations apply:
