Backup for GKE 提供了两种类型的顶级资源（BackupPlans 和 RestorePlans）。这些资源始终在包含项目 ID 和位置的资源层次结构中创建。作为区域级服务，Backup for GKE 位置始终为Google Cloud 区域。
Backup for GKE 资源区域会产生以下影响：
BackupPlan定义将存储由
BackupPlan生成的所有备份工件（配置备份和卷备份）的区域。如果使用BackupPlan备份的集群与BackupPlan位于不同的区域，则在执行这些备份时，可能会产生区域间数据传输费用。定义允许的 CMEK 密钥区域（请参阅 CMEK 加密简介）。如果要注册用于加密备份工件的 CMEK 密钥，该密钥必须与
BackupPlan位于同一区域。
RestorePlan- 定义要在其中恢复备份工件的区域。在
RestorePlan中引用的目标集群必须是RestorePlan所在区域中的可用区级集群或区域级集群。如果RestorePlan区域与BackupPlan区域不同，则在执行这些恢复操作时，可能会产生区域间数据传输费用。
